Hamvention 2025

Product Updates
Flex-8000 Series
FlexRadio wants to recognize and apologize for the time it is taking us to ship our FLEX-8000 series radios to our customers who trusted us to deliver their orders in a timely manner. We know you are anxious to receive your radios and we are anxious to deliver. We truly appreciate your patience and long standing business.
Over the past few months we’ve experienced a number of slowdowns to our production line from a broken die at our heat sink supplier, to faulty fan mounts, to component and sheet metal delays. Our team has been working diligently to overcome these interruptions by adding additional staff to our line, sourcing alternate suppliers, and more so that we may improve customer response and delivery.
To date, our goal is to ship our entire radio backlog (any order placed March 7th or earlier) no later than the first week of May. To accelerate production we will focus on batching model types to get radios delivered as quickly as possible.
With this production strategy in mind we expect to complete the backlog on each model by the dates listed below:
FLEX-8400 / FLEX-8400M
We expect to clear our backlog by the week of April 14th
FLEX-8600 / FLEX-8600M
The expectation is that we will clear the backlog of FLEX-8600 and FLEX-8600M models by the first week of May. This backlog is larger than our 8400/8400M series and will just take additional time to work through.
Rest assured we are doing everything we can to accelerate this schedule but as of the time we published this update these are the latest dates provided by our operations team.
For new orders placed March 8, 2025 or later, availability is 8-10 weeks from order date but know that we are working with our contract manufacturer and suppliers to pull that delivery window in.
Maestro
Due to a current build delay, delivery of new Maestro orders could take up to three weeks.

Our most popular presentation, this talk explores the differences between traditional HF radio using Super Heterodyne Receivers and today’s Software Defined Radios. We’ll showcase and explain the advantages of these advanced technologies. If you have received this one already, then possibly consider one of the other 2.
FlexRadio – The FLEX-8000 Series Overview. This talk is ideal for those with some FlexRadio experience who want to learn more about the recently announced FLEX-8000 series’ hardware and software features. The FLEX-8000 series is the successor to the FLEX-6000 series.
Getting Started in Remote HF Radio. Remote HF Radio Operation has become mainstream. This presentation is perfect for those planning to set up a remote station or just interested in how easy it is today. We’ll cover radio choices, power control, and more!
