It modernizes your station with a more reliable foundation and a clear path to innovation — without changing how you operate today. SmartSDR is for Windows platforms. Windows 11 is highly recommended as Microsoft has ended support for all previous versions.

The feature add‑on for power users.

Unlock all new features released for 365 days from the day you activate SmartSDR+.
Keep everything you unlocked—those features remain available and do not expire.
Renew whenever it makes sense for you to capture the next wave of capabilities.
Perfect for operators who want steady, meaningful upgrades without fuss.
Features stay licensed to the radio. If you sell the radio, the features go with the radio.

How it works (at a glance):

Day 0-30: Activate SmartSDR Early Release — immediately unlock all new features available at launch.
Days 31: Features become available for all SmartSDR+ subscribers — automatically unlocking for anyone with an active plan.
Days 32–365: Continue to receive every new feature released within your active year.
Day 366+: Your radio keeps all those unlocked features; you can re‑activate later anytime to get the next 365 days of innovations.

2) SmartSDR+ Early Access

For operators who always want the latest — first.

Get new SmartSDR features ~30 days before general availability.
Shape what ships by sharing feedback directly with the team during the Early Access window.
Upgrade from SmartSDR+ for early, guaranteed access to the next set of feature unlocks. SmartSDR Early Access replaces SmartSDR+.

Early Access accelerates when you see new capabilities. SmartSDR+ determines which features you retain long‑term.

How to Purchase SmartSDR+ or SmartSDR+ EA

Upgrade to SmartSDR Basic
Start SmartSDR Basic
Select Radio Settings
Select Radio Tab
Select either “Get SmartSDR+” or “Get Early Access” (only choose 1 or the other)

Maestro or M Model

Upgrade to SmartSDR Basic
Connect your Maestro or M model to you radio
Select Menu
Select Radio Tab on Left side
Scroll down to “License Info”
Scan the QR code with a mobile device
Follow the instructions on your mobile device

Notes:

FLEX‑6000 and FLEX‑8000 are supported. Features and availability may vary by hardware. Some features will only be available on FLEX-8000 series. Please review the release notes prior to purchase.

SmartSDR+ and SmartSDR Early Access is for Windows platforms. Windows 11 is highly recommended as Microsoft has ended support for all previous versions.

If you add SmartSDR Early Access while SmartSDR+ time remains — the new Early Access term replaces your existing SmartSDR+ period starting from the purchase time of SmartSDR Early Access. Remaining SmartSDR+ time does not carry over or receive a prorated credit.

If upgrading from v1 to v4 — you will not have access to SmartLink or MultiFlex. Access to SmartLink or MultiFlex would require you to purchase SmartSDR+ or SmartSDR+ Early Access.

If upgrading from v2 to v4 — you will not have access to MultiFlex. Access to MultiFlex would require you to purchase SmartSDR+ or SmartSDR+ Early Access.

All FLEX-6000 and FLEX-8000 radios must have internet access to complete a purchase.
If your radio is connected directly to your PC with a single Ethernet cable, you’ll need to provide a path for the radio to reach the internet.
Radios showing an IP address that begins with 169.x.x.x indicate no internet access and will require network configuration before proceeding.

All purchases of SmartSDR+ and SmartSDR+ Early Access are final.
